So… Is Your Higher Self the Same as Source?

Not exactly. Think of it like this: Source is the origin —pure consciousness, God/Goddess/Divine Light, whatever you want to call it. It’s the everything-and-nothing energy from which all things come. Your Higher Self is your personal bridge to Source. It’s your soul in its purest form , untainted by fear, ego, or human distortion. Your Higher Self is you , just on the zoomed-out level —the version of you that remembers the full story, all lifetimes, all lessons, all missions. So: Source is the sun. Your Higher Self is the sunbeam that still holds its essence but is uniquely you . Is Your Higher Self Your Soul? Pretty much— but here's the nuance: Your soul is eternal. It’s the part of you that has lived countless lives. Your Higher Self is like the fully awakened version of your soul —the one not currently squeezed into a human body trying to pay bills and avoid family drama. When you're in human form, you're kind of like the tip of the i...

The Earth’s Hidden Energy: Exploring the Science, Metaphysics, and Spirituality of Energy Grids and Fields

My Journey Into Earth’s Energy

I’ve always been fascinated by the unseen forces that shape our world. The more I learn about energy, the more I want to know. Recently, while taking a Shamanic Art class, the instructor mentioned electromagnetic fields—and that sparked something in me. I started thinking about energy grids, the pyramids, and other ancient structures believed to hold energetic power. My curiosity led me on a deep dive into the world of Earth’s energy, and here’s what I discovered.

Have you ever stepped into a place and felt an immediate shift in your energy—whether a deep sense of peace, heightened awareness, or even an unexplainable tingling sensation? Across cultures and traditions, certain locations have long been regarded as powerful energy centers, influencing everything from human consciousness to ancient architecture. But what is this energy, and how does it work?

Science tells us that the Earth generates electromagnetic fields, while metaphysical and spiritual traditions describe an intricate web of energy grids, ley lines, and vortexes that shape the flow of energy across the planet. Could these ideas be different perspectives on the same unseen force?

In this post, we’ll explore:

  • The scientific basis of Earth’s energy, including electromagnetic fields and geophysical currents.
  • The metaphysical theories of ley lines, Earth chakras, and sacred geometry.
  • The spiritual connection between energy fields, consciousness, and manifestation.

Let’s dive into the world of Earth’s hidden energy and uncover how it influences our lives.

1. The Science of Earth’s Energy Fields

Electromagnetic Fields & The Earth’s Grid

From a scientific standpoint, the Earth is constantly generating and interacting with various energy fields:

  • The Geomagnetic Field: The Earth acts like a giant magnet, producing a protective magnetic shield that deflects solar radiation and cosmic rays. This field is constantly fluctuating due to solar activity.
  • Schumann Resonance: A frequency of 7.83 Hz, created by the interaction of lightning and the Earth’s ionosphere, is sometimes called the Earth’s "heartbeat." Some researchers suggest this frequency may influence human brainwaves and well-being.
  • Telluric Currents: These underground electrical currents are generated by the Earth's magnetic field and geological activity. Some believe they could influence natural energy hotspots.

The Hartmann & Curry Grids

Some researchers propose that the Earth is covered by energy grid systems, including:

  • The Hartmann Grid: A network of electromagnetic lines that crisscross the Earth, forming a geometric pattern. Some believe these lines can affect human health, particularly where they intersect.
  • The Curry Grid: Another theorized network of diagonal energy lines, said to be influenced by cosmic radiation.
While mainstream science does not officially recognize these grids, some energy healers and dowsers use them to locate "geopathic stress zones", where electromagnetic disturbances may impact sleep and well-being.

2. The Metaphysical Perspective: Ley Lines, Earth Chakras & Sacred Sites

Ley Lines: The Earth’s Energy Highways

Ley lines are believed to be invisible pathways of energy that connect ancient sacred sites across the world. Many powerful locations—such as the Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, and the Great Wall of China—are aligned along these lines.

  • Some researchers believe these sites were intentionally built on ley lines to tap into natural energy for healing, spiritual insight, and even advanced technology.
  • Others suggest ley lines could represent subtle energetic meridians, similar to the acupuncture points on the human body.

Earth Chakras: The Planet’s Spiritual Energy Centers

Just as the human body has seven chakras, some spiritual traditions believe the Earth has major energy centers that influence global consciousness. These locations include:

  • Root Chakra (Mount Shasta, USA) – A center of grounding and transformation.
  • Sacral Chakra (Lake Titicaca, Peru/Bolivia) – Associated with creativity and birth.
  • Solar Plexus Chakra (Uluru & Kata Tjuta, Australia) – A site of power and manifestation.
  • Heart Chakra (Glastonbury, England & Shaftesbury, UK) – A center of love and compassion.
  • Throat Chakra (Great Pyramids of Giza, Egypt) – Connected to truth and communication.
  • Third Eye Chakra (Kuhn Lun Mountains, Tibet) – A gateway to wisdom and intuition.
  • Crown Chakra (Mount Kailash, Tibet) – The highest spiritual connection.

People often visit these locations for spiritual awakenings, healing, and energetic alignment.

Energy Vortexes: Powerful Spirals of Energy

Some locations, such as Sedona, Arizona, are known as energy vortexes—places where Earth’s energy is believed to swirl in a concentrated way. These vortexes are often linked to:

  • Inward energy (Feminine/Yin): Promotes introspection and healing

Conclusion: Bridging Science, Metaphysics, and Spirituality

While science measures tangible electromagnetic forces, metaphysics explores the subtle energies that might connect consciousness with the Earth. Spiritual traditions have long recognized the influence of energy centers on health, emotions, and awareness.

Whether we view these energy grids as scientific phenomena, metaphysical mysteries, or spiritual truths, one thing is certain: the Earth is alive with energy, and our connection to it runs deeper than we may realize.

As we continue to explore these hidden forces, we open ourselves to new ways of understanding the universe, our place within it, and the infinite possibilities that energy holds for transformation and growth.

The Reticular Activating System: Your Brain’s Gatekeeper and Its Role in Stress and Anxiety

Have you ever noticed how once you start thinking about buying a certain car, you suddenly see it everywhere? Or how a single negative thought can spiral into a whole cascade of worries? That’s your Reticular Activating System (RAS) at work. The RAS is a powerful network of neurons in the brainstem responsible for filtering sensory information, regulating alertness, and influencing our focus. But beyond helping us pay attention, it also plays a key role in stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation. Understanding how it works can help us manage our thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being. What is the Reticular Activating System (RAS)? The RAS is essentially your brain’s filter. Every second, your senses take in massive amounts of information, but your brain can only process a fraction of it. The RAS determines which stimuli are important and which can be ignored. It keeps you alert when necessary and helps transition between wakefulness and sleep. Here are its key functions: Regulati...

Mesmerism vs. The Emotion Code: A Look at the Use of Magnets in Energy Healing

During my training to become a hypnotherapist, I learned about Franz Anton Mesmer and his intriguing use of magnets in healing. Mesmer believed in a concept called "animal magnetism," a vital energy force he thought could be manipulated to restore balance in the body. His methods, though controversial, were an early exploration of the mind-body connection and the power of suggestion. Fast forward to today, and magnets are still being used in energy healing practices—most notably in The Emotion Code, a modern modality that claims to identify and release trapped emotions through muscle testing and magnetic energy. But how do these two approaches compare? While they both involve magnets, the philosophies behind them and their applications are vastly different. In this blog, I’ll explore the historical use of magnets in Mesmerism and contrast it with how magnets are used in The Emotion Code, shedding light on their similarities, differences, and what we can learn from both. Mesme...
