10 Months Later. Here's Where I Am

It's hard to believe it's been 10 months since my accident. It's been quite a journey. I went from the trauma unit to an acute care hospital, connected to more life support machines than I could count. One by one, I was able to come off each machine until I was finally discharged at the end of December. When I got home, I spent about a month in bed. I couldn't do much for myself and had to slowly rebuild my strength. I started going to the gym once a week, and after a couple of months I was finally able to get a caretaker who could take me two or three times a week. That's when I really started making progress. But recovery hasn't been a straight line. My amputated leg had complication after complication, and the wounds wouldn't heal for months. Even though I received my prosthetic leg on February 10, I couldn't safely wear it until the very end of April because the wounds wouldn't close. Just when I started walking with my prosthetic at the gym, I ...

Reciprocal Motion: The Energy of Action and Attraction

Reciprocal Motion: The Missing Link Between Thought and Manifestation

Written by Master Law of Attraction Coach Jean Marshall

Action as Energy

Action is energy. In physics, energy is defined as the capacity to do work. When you take action, you’re expending energy, and that energy doesn’t just disappear—it interacts with the world around you.

Think of it like throwing a pebble into a still pond. The pebble (your action) creates ripples that spread outward, affecting everything in their path. Similarly, your actions create waves of energy that influence your reality.

The Law of Action

This principle is closely tied to the Law of Attraction. While the Law of Attraction focuses on the power of thought and intention, the Law of Action emphasizes the importance of doing.

You can visualize and affirm all you want, but without taking concrete steps, your desires are unlikely to manifest. Action bridges the gap between intention and reality—it’s the physical manifestation of your mental and emotional energy.

Why Reciprocal Motion Works

The concept of Reciprocal Motion is powerful. Even if your actions aren’t perfectly aligned with your end goal, the very act of moving creates momentum.

Imagine a car stuck in the mud. Spinning the wheels might not get you out immediately, but it generates friction, heat, and ultimately, traction. Similarly, any action you take creates a vibration that attracts something back to you. This "something" might not be exactly what you intended, but it provides feedback, new opportunities, and unexpected pathways forward.

The Power of Momentum

Momentum is key. Once you start moving, it becomes easier to stay in motion. Even small, seemingly insignificant actions build momentum, making it easier to tackle bigger challenges and reach your goals.

This is why it’s crucial to avoid analysis paralysis—overthinking to the point of inaction. Imperfect action is better than no action at all.

Connecting It to the Law of Attraction

While action is crucial, it works best when combined with the Law of Attraction.

  • Your thoughts and feelings provide direction.

  • Your actions provide the fuel.

Even if your initial actions are slightly off-course, they generate feedback that allows you to refine your approach and move closer to your goal.

Example: Manifesting an Online Business

Let’s say your goal is to start a successful online business. You might not know exactly what product to sell or how to market it. Reciprocal Motion suggests that you start taking any action related to online business.

  • Research different business models.

  • Learn about website design.

  • Set up a social media account for your future business.

These actions might not lead to immediate success, but they generate energy, create connections, and provide valuable learning experiences—all of which bring you closer to your goal.

Reciprocal Motion and Energy Flow

Reciprocal Motion aligns with both metaphysical and scientific principles of energy flow.

Everything in the universe operates through cycles, movement, and energy exchange. When you stay in action, you generate momentum, and that momentum attracts new opportunities, people, and synchronicities.

This works in two ways:

  1. Energetically (Law of Attraction) – Taking action shifts your vibration and keeps energy moving. If you’re aligned with your desires, that movement draws in opportunities.

  2. Physically (Cause & Effect) – Action itself changes circumstances. Even if an action isn’t directly related to your goal, movement creates new pathways for things to unfold.

Why Does This Work?

  • Energy in motion stays in motion (Newton’s First Law but applied to life energy).

  • The Universe responds to frequency—stagnation attracts stagnation, movement attracts movement.

  • Action sparks inspiration—by doing something, you open your mind to creative ideas, unexpected insights, and guidance from your intuition or spirit guides.

  • Confidence grows through action—when you take even small steps, you reinforce belief in yourself, which raises your energy even more.

Thought vs. Action

Thought alone is powerful, but when combined with action, it becomes unstoppable. My younger self knew this intuitively, and my journey as a Master Law of Attraction Coach has only reinforced its power.

Final Thoughts

  • Action is energy—it creates ripples in your reality.

  • The Law of Action complements the Law of Attraction—it’s the bridge between intention and manifestation.

  • Reciprocal Motion highlights the importance of continuous movement, even if it’s imperfect.

  • Momentum is key—small steps compound over time.

  • When focused intention meets consistent action, success becomes inevitable.

It’s a practical and powerful way to harness the laws of the universe.

Walking Through Fear While My Life Is Still Unstable

Walking Through Fear Anyway: When Survival Becomes a Daily Choice I’m at risk of losing my housing right now. That sentence alone feels surreal to write, but it’s my reality. I’ve already survived things most people only ever read about. A catastrophic accident. A medically induced coma. An amputation. Metal now holding parts of my body together—including my vertebrae, and my left leg from my knee to my ankle. I’m still learning what all of this means in real time, because even now, no one has fully explained every part of what happened to me. I also don’t remember the accident itself. Not because I’m avoiding it—but because my mind shut it out. The trauma was so severe, and my body was so critically compromised, that everything went into survival shutdown. I had kidney failure and heart failure. My body was shutting down, and my brain shut down with it. What I do remember is the day. I remember my thought process clearly in the beginning. I remember thinking I wasn’t in a...

I Didn’t Ask for This: My Journey After a Life-Changing Accident

I recently shared a post asking for support during a very difficult time in my life, and I received some comments calling me a "beggar" or accusing me of "money begging." I want to clarify something: I am not begging. I am asking for help while I try to survive an unexpected and life-altering situation. There is no obligation for anyone to donate. People are free to scroll past, say no, or simply wish me well. But it's incredibly hurtful when people judge a situation they haven't lived. I was in a catastrophic accident that was not my fault, and it permanently changed my life. I didn't ask to lose my leg. I didn't ask to spend four months in the hospital. I didn't ask for my body to be permanently altered, my car to be totaled, or my ability to work and support myself to be taken away. This didn't happen gradually or by choice. It happened in an instant, and it has taken away my health, my independence, and my ability to support myself in the...
