So… Is Your Higher Self the Same as Source?

Not exactly. Think of it like this: Source is the origin —pure consciousness, God/Goddess/Divine Light, whatever you want to call it. It’s the everything-and-nothing energy from which all things come. Your Higher Self is your personal bridge to Source. It’s your soul in its purest form , untainted by fear, ego, or human distortion. Your Higher Self is you , just on the zoomed-out level —the version of you that remembers the full story, all lifetimes, all lessons, all missions. So: Source is the sun. Your Higher Self is the sunbeam that still holds its essence but is uniquely you . Is Your Higher Self Your Soul? Pretty much— but here's the nuance: Your soul is eternal. It’s the part of you that has lived countless lives. Your Higher Self is like the fully awakened version of your soul —the one not currently squeezed into a human body trying to pay bills and avoid family drama. When you're in human form, you're kind of like the tip of the i...

Discovering My Psychic Gifts: A Journey into Intuition, Energy, and Spiritual Alignment

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the mysteries of energy, intuition, and spiritual connection. As I’ve immersed myself in courses on Reiki, EFT tapping, Law of Attraction, and energy alignment, I’ve also begun developing my own psychic abilities. But what does that really mean? I recently took a test to assess my intuitive strengths, and the results were eye-opening.

My Psychic Ability Results

Taking this psychic test was both validating and insightful. My highest score was in clairvoyance, which makes perfect sense—I’ve always said I can see things others don’t. Clairsentience resonated deeply because I’ve always been a deep feeler, picking up on emotions and energies around me. And claircognizance explains my natural tendency to just know things without needing proof. With 40 being the highest score, it’s fascinating to see how strongly these abilities show up, even as someone who isn’t a seasoned clairvoyant. It’s a powerful confirmation of what I’ve intuitively known about myself all along.

The test revealed that my strongest intuitive gifts are:

  • Clairvoyance (40%) – Clear Seeing

  • Clairsentience (30%) – Clear Feeling

  • Claircognizance (30%) – Clear Knowing

Each of these abilities aligns perfectly with my passion for energy healing, spirituality, and intuitive coaching. Let’s dive deeper into what these results mean and how they shape my journey.

Clairvoyance: Seeing Beyond the Physical

Clairvoyance means "clear seeing," and it’s the ability to perceive images, symbols, auras, and spiritual messages beyond the physical realm. This explains why visualization and meditation have always been powerful tools for me. I often receive insights in the form of images or visions, which help me guide both myself and others.

To strengthen this gift, I’m practicing third-eye meditation, working with Amethyst and Lapis Lazuli, and using visualization techniques in my Law of Attraction work. Clairvoyance is a powerful tool in energy healing, allowing me to "see" blockages and intuitively guide clients toward alignment.

Clairsentience: Feeling Energy and Emotions

Clairsentience is the ability to sense emotions and energy, both in myself and in others. This ability makes me highly empathic and allows me to tune into people’s energy fields, which is invaluable in Reiki, EFT tapping, and emotion-based healing.

Being an empath means I sometimes absorb energy from those around me, so I’ve learned to practice grounding techniques, energy clearing, and protection methods. Somatic yoga, breathwork, and heart-centered meditations have been essential in keeping my energy balanced.

Claircognizance: Knowing Without Knowing How

Claircognizance is that deep, intuitive knowing—when you receive an insight that you just know is true without any logical explanation. This explains why I often get sudden downloads of wisdom, solutions, or guidance. It also strengthens my ability as a coach, allowing me to provide clients with deep, intuitive insights that resonate on a soul level.

To further develop this gift, I’m keeping an intuition journal, trusting my inner wisdom more, and using automatic writing techniques to channel insights.

How This Transforms My Coaching Practice

These intuitive abilities shape the way I approach coaching and healing. By integrating clairvoyance, clairsentience, and claircognizance into my work, I can:

  • Use visualization and energy alignment techniques to guide clients toward transformation.

  • Tune into their emotions and energy blocks, offering personalized healing techniques.

  • Provide deep insights that empower them to trust their own inner knowing.

Encouraging Others to Explore Their Intuition

We all have intuitive abilities—we just need to nurture and develop them. Whether it’s through meditation, energy healing, or mindfulness, tapping into our psychic senses can enhance our lives in profound ways.

Mastering Meditation: Embrace Distractions and Deepen Your Practice

Meditation often conjures images of serene stillness and unwavering focus. Yet, for many, the reality includes a flurry of thoughts, fleeting moments of clarity, and the challenge of maintaining concentration. If you've ever felt disheartened by a wandering mind during meditation, know that you're not alone—and that these experiences are a natural part of the journey. 1. Acknowledge and Return—Without Judgment Distractions are not failures; they're opportunities to strengthen your focus. When a thought arises and pulls you away from your meditation, gently acknowledge it—perhaps thinking, "There's a thought"—and then return your attention to your chosen focal point, such as your breath or a visualization. This act of returning is like exercising a muscle; each redirection enhances your mental resilience. 2. Why Your Coach’s Character Matters Just as Much as Their Skills

Why Your Coach’s Character Matters Just as Much as Their Skills I recently had an eye-opening experience with someone I had followed and admired for her grit and tenacity. Like me, she took a leap, leaving the career she trained for to turn her passion into a business. As a marketing coach, she built her brand during COVID, mastering skills I hadn’t focused on because I was healing from a stroke. Now that I’m back, I’ve been exploring what’s new in the field, and I was excited to see her “no fluff” approach to success. In our profession, it’s common for coaches to talk about mindset and resilience. To “walk the walk” and “talk the talk” are mantras we’re all familiar with, and as both a life and transformational coach, these principles are everything to me. For my clients, unshakable tenacity is part of what I bring to the table every day, and I admired that she seemed to embody this too—or so I thought. She scheduled a training right after the recent election, which I thought showed t...
