A 3-Step Daily Reset for Safety, Fear Rewiring & Emotional Healing After Trauma

After surviving a stroke and a catastrophic accident, I’ve had to rebuild not just my body—but my nervous system, my thoughts, and my sense of safety in the world. At the very least, I dedicate 10 minutes each morning to anchoring my body in safety. From there, I’ve developed a simple 3-step daily reset that helps me move through fear, regulate my thoughts, and gently rewire how I relate to uncertainty, pain, and hope. This is not about perfection. It’s about returning to yourself, over and over again, especially after trauma. 1. Morning Safety Anchor (2 minutes) I place my hand on my heart and breathe: inhale for 4, hold for 2, exhale for 6. I say: “In this moment, I am safe.” This helps ground my nervous system and even supports calming phantom pain when it shows up. 2. Midday Thought Flip (30 seconds at a time) When fear starts to spiral into “what if” scenarios, I pause. Instead of feeding the fear, I answer it gently: “And if it happens, I’ll handle it. June was slow. Like, dead quiet slow. No business. No momentum. It felt like everything was stuck.

So I did something totally ordinary—but energetically powerful.
I had a yard sale.

Not just to make money (though that helped). I needed to MOVE energy. To release things. To stir the pot. To show the Universe that I wasn’t just going to sit there waiting. I was going to make shit happen.

And guess what? I went from zero bookings to FIVE bookings this month.

Coincidence? I don’t think so.
Money is energy. Movement is energy. Letting go is an invitation for more.

Sometimes we think we have to wait until the “right thing” comes along, or until we “feel ready.” But the truth is, energy responds to action. When you move—even in a small way—you signal the Universe that you’re open, available, and in the flow.

So if you’re in a lull, don’t panic.
Clean your space.
Sell stuff.
Shake things up.
Move your body.
Make a call.
Say yes to something random.
Create momentum from wherever you are.

Because sometimes the shift you’re waiting for... is waiting on you to start it.
